Pork chops and gravy

10 thick boneless pork chops (I cut

my own from a pork loin)

Parsley (divided)

Thyme (divided)

Chicken breader

Minced garlic or powder

Minced onion

Water (~1/4 c)

Buttermilk

  • Season both sides of each pork chop with parsley and thyme. Cook ~5 mins, then flip to other side for 5 mins. Repeat until done through. Should be golden brown on both sides. Remove pork chops from pan.

  • Add ~1/8 c water to hot pan. Throw in some chicken breader and immediately stir with flat whisk. When that seizes up, add remaining water; stir. Add garlic powder and whisk constantly. As gravy thickens, add a good amount of buttermilk. Once it thins out again, add more chicken breader and parsley and thyme. Keep stirring until thick and bubbling.

  • Add pork chops to gravy and cover with gravy.

  • Serve.
