National Pie Day (1.23.24)

Ok, this has been sitting in my drafts for almost 11 months. I don’t even know why…

I’ve been posting so many recipes, that I haven’t posted anything homeschool related lately… so without further ado, I give you….

It was National Pie day yesterday , and in homeschooling, we like to do today in History or today is National “?” Day….

So in honor of that….

F’s assignment

Step 1

She was to go on Pinterest and pick a pie she’s never made. She picked an apple pie she found. She said she has been wanting apple pie anyway and wanted to learn how to make it.

Step 2

She used my recipe for pie crusts, so they could be refrigerated before the grocery run for Granny Smith's.

Step 3 (after a grocery run)

She made the pie from start to finish 100% by herself.
