
Minced Garlic

Ok, so you don’t have to go crazy like I did. This is probably 20 heads. If you do, please wear gloves. Over the couple hours I spent on this, I burned my pointer fingertip from the juice….. but I got enough minced garlic probably for the rest of my life…ahem…. A few months.
This made probably enough to fill 6-8 spice jars. I had to food saver most of it.

So for this, you just take the unpeeled cloves (remember to use the ends/peels for garlic powder), and mince them up. You can use whatever method you want to do this, mince it up with your knife, stick them in the food processor (just don’t process to a pulp, ya gotta have stopping power people), garlic press, hand chopper…whatever.
After they’re all minced, stick them on the silicone dehydrator mat.
My dehydrator will only let me do 8 hours. I think I did this on 165° for 10 hours, but you’ll know when you check it at 8 hours.
