Y’all this is such a game changer. I do have a dehydrator and an herb grinder, so that helps, but you can also use your oven and/or air fryer to dehydrate.

This garlic powder is wildly different in colors than the store bought. The bottom is store and top Is homemade. It is also so much more fragrant than store bought. You only need a fraction of what you’d need of the store bought stuff…. Unless you’re like me and sprinkle freely.

Garlic Powder

peels and ends of as many garlic heads as you’d like

  • Put garlic peels on dehydrator rack (can use silicone rack cover).

  • Turn temperature to 165°; turn time to 8 hrs.

  • Press start.

  • After peels/ends have dehydrated, put them in your herb grinder or food processor. Grind until desired consistency.

That’s it. And you don’t have to rush after they’ve dehydrated.

And you don’t have to do this much….. but I wanted minced garlic too. So we did.
