My daughter likes an electrolyte beverage with the initials BA.
You can get 8 bottles (96 oz) for $6.50.
However I made this with fruit from my freezer (pineapple and blueberries) and an 1L bottle of coconut water, $3.75. It was probably 1/2 a pineapple, so about $1 when they were in season. About 1/4 pint blueberries, so 75 cents when they were in season. So I spent about $5.50 for 64 oz.
While I did spend about 1.5 cents more per ounce, mine had 5 ingredients pineapple, blueberries and the 3 ingredients from the coconut label: coconut water, <1% sugar, vitamin C. Theirs had 20 ingredients, some I can’t even pronounce.
Plus mine was kind of like a slushy because of the frozen fruit. It wasn’t too sweet, and no chemical aftertaste as I’m noticing with many foods now that we’re on a journey to ditch the store.
Fruity Coconut Water
1 L coconut water
2 handfuls frozen fruit
Mix together in a blender until desired consistency. At this point, you can strain it to get the seeds and froth out of it, but I didn’t and it was fine for me.
Serve and store leftovers in the fridge.
This is the coconut water I used. I know I don’t like CW plain, so I didn’t want to spend a lot to see if I’d like this experiment.

This was my ingredient label + pineapple and blueberries:

This was one of their versions:

You do the math. Ditch the store.
