Now I know we’re on a kick to cut processed foods out of our life, but if this wasn’t on the table several times a year, and every holiday meal, well there might just be a mutiny on my hands.

I’ve been making it since my kids were babies and they ask for it often. This was my most requested church dish for potlucks.

Chocolate-Cherry Crunch

Serving Size : 12

Categories : Dessert

1 can cherry pie filling

1 package fudge brownie mix

1/2 c chopped pecans

1 c quick oats

1 1/2 sticks butter, melted

  • PH oven to 350°.

  • Pour pie filling in the bottom of ungreased 9X13" casserole dish; set aside.

  • Combine remaining ingredients in gallon ziploc; seal. Use hands to squeeze outside of bag until contents are blended and coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle chocolate mixture over cherries.

  • Bake for 30 minutes until cherries are bubbly and chocolate topping is slightly crunchy.
