Now I know we’re on a kick to cut processed foods out of our life, but if this wasn’t on the table several times a year, and every holiday meal, well there might just be a mutiny on my hands.
I’ve been making it since my kids were babies and they ask for it often. This was my most requested church dish for potlucks.
Chocolate-Cherry Crunch
Serving Size : 12
Categories : Dessert
1 can cherry pie filling
1 package fudge brownie mix
1/2 c chopped pecans
1 c quick oats
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
PH oven to 350°.
Pour pie filling in the bottom of ungreased 9X13" casserole dish; set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in gallon ziploc; seal. Use hands to squeeze outside of bag until contents are blended and coarse crumbs form. Sprinkle chocolate mixture over cherries.
Bake for 30 minutes until cherries are bubbly and chocolate topping is slightly crunchy.
